Gran Pharma Inc.
Pharmacies are seen as "places to pick up medicine" — nothing more. Gran Pharma Inc., a pharmacy chain in Ishikawa Prefecture, envisions a future where people don't need medication at all. But how do you get everyday users to proactively engage with their own health? They needed an approach that breaks conventions.
Through the Kanazawa University Co-Creation Program, we partnered with Gran Pharma to reimagine "the pharmacy of the future." Instead of a utility tool, we designed an entertainment-first health service — making health engagement feel like chatting with a friend, not visiting a clinic.
What We Built
A LINE-based AI chatbot with a unique character personality. Gacky is a "pharmacy nerd" who chats naturally about your meals, health concerns, and daily habits — turning casual conversation into health literacy without the user even realizing it.

Selected for the Co-Creation Program. Matched with Gran Pharma Inc. to research "the pharmacy of the future." Designed the prototype for AI Jibun Karada Gacky.

Launched a regional revitalization venture in Ibusuki, Kagoshima. Created "Omae Dare da yo!!!" — a card game that turns local business names into gameplay, promoting regional discovery through gamification.
